Jim Fowler
Jim Fowler Visits Big Cat Rescue
Are you a fan of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom ? It was by far my favorite program back when I was a kid. I always looked forward to Marlin Perkins narration and Jim Fowler's fearless pursuit in bringing the wild kingdom into our living room. Back in the late 1990's and into the year 2000 we had the pleasure of working with Jim a number of times, one being at the Friends of Conservation event to raise funds for Cheetahs in Africa. After one of these joint efforts, Jim and friends from his wonderful sponsor Mutual of Omaha visited Big Cat Rescue (then called WildLife on Easy Street) to see our facility, share some pizza, and talk about conservation. The photo at right is Jim Fowler with Bosco, a brown lemur who resided at Big Cat Rescue at the time. We appreciate the conservation efforts of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom and invite you to click on the photo below of Jim Fowler to read more about him and the great work of Mutual of Omaha.
If you remember Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, then you surely remember Jim Fowler. Photo at left is from left to right, Brett Creamer, Jim Fowler, Troy Valentine, and center front is Judy Watson holding Bosco, the Brown front lemur. | |
Note, we no longer allow contact with exotic animals at Big Cat Rescue as we believe doing so sends the wrong message. Wild animals never make good pets.Back to Big Cat Rescue Celebrities
